What if I test positive for GBS?

I follow Center for Disease Control guidelines for detection and treatment of Group B Streptoccocus. The testing is done between 35-37 weeks gestation. If you test positive and choose IV anti-biotic prophylaxis, you may still have a home birth. I am trained and certified to administer IV anti-biotics and this can be done while laboring at home. I also offer alternative therapies in addition to anti-biotics for those interested.
